Dieses WordPress Plugin stellt eine TagCloud als Sidebar-Widget zur Verfügung, die nur Tags abhängig vom aktuellen Kontext anzeigt: Die TagCloud zeigt nur die Tags, die auch wirklich in z.B. der aktuellen Kategorie, dem aktuellen Archiv oder den Suchergebnissen vorkommen. Das Widget kann so konfiguriert werden, dass es unter Anderem nur auf TagArchiv-Seiten, auf Kategorie-Seiten, der Suchergebnis-Seite oder beim Anzeigen eines einzelnen Beitrags erscheint. Es ist auch möglich die Tag-Links der TagCloud auf das aktuelle Tag-Archiv oder die aktuelle Kategorie einschränken zu lassen: Wenn man dann zum Beispiel im Tag-Archiv des Tags “Test1″ in der TagCloud auf den Tag-Link “Tag2″ klickt werden auf der Zielseite nur Beiträge aufgelistet die beide Tags enthalten, dies ermöglicht eine Drilldown-Navigation. Es ist möglich die Such-Tags selbst von der Anzeige auszuschließen. Auf der Einzelansichts-Seite eines Beitrags können nicht nur die Tags des aktuellen Beitrags, sondern auch verwandte Tags mit angezeigt werden. Das Aussehen und die Größen, so wie die Anzahl anzuzeigender Tags der TagCloud können natürlich auch konfiguriert werden.

English Text: This wordpress plugin provides a configurable tagcloud that shows tags depending of the current context only. For example the tagcloud shows only tags that really occur in the current category, or within the current date-, author-, tag- archive or even only the tags that occur in the search results.
It is also possible to restrict the links of the tag cloud to the current viewing tag archive or category: If you click on the tag “test1″ within the tag cloud of the tag archive of “test2″ the target page will only contain posts that have both tags, like a drill down navigation. It is possible to exclude the tag of the tag-archive itself from the tagcloud.
For the single post pages you can configure the tagcloud to show also related tags of the current posts, not only the direct tags of the post. And you can configure the tagcloud to exclude the tag of the current post, to show only the related tags.
The style and sizes of the tagcloud can be configured, and the widget can be configured to be only visible if viewing a tag archive, category, a sinlge post or even only if viewing the searchresults for example. It is also possible to configure the number of tags that should be displayed in the different conditions.

Als Demo dient diese Seite selbst (Siehe Sidebar Widget “Stichwörter”): Das TagCloud-Widget ist so konfiguriert das es nur auf Seiten, Archiv- und Kategorie-Seiten sowie Suchergebniss-Seiten erscheint und die entsprechenden Tags anzeigt. Die Link-Einschränkung ist für Tag-Archive aktiviert.

Habs eingebaut. Leider kommt eine fehlermeldung folgender Art:

Sieht genial aus, aber die Readme ist nicht ganz Logisch:

1. Upload the folder 'sensitive-tag-cloud' with all files to '/wp-content/plugins' on your webserver
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Add the widget "sensitive tag cloud" to your sidebar and configure it as you like

Habe nicht sehr viel Ahnung von Widgets daher verstehe ich die Anleitung nicht ^^

[…] J’ai découvert le plugin Sensitive Tag Cloud chez René Ade.
Le pilotage du plugin se fait par l’onglet de gestion des widgets dans le thème.
Ce plugin permet d’afficher un nuage de tags dépendant du contexte. Le contexte, dans la version 0.5 de ce plugin se limite à la catégorie.
Cela signifie donc que, quand vous sélectionnez une catégorie, le nuage de tags qui s’affiche ne reprend que les tags présents sur les articles de la catégorie sélectionnée.
Une option intéressante est celle de n’afficher ce nuage de tags un peu particulier que quand on a choisi parmi les catégories possibles.
Remarques :
Ce serait très intéressant d’utiliser un tag sélectionner comme base du contexte (j’en ait fait la demande dans les commentaires sur le plugin).
L’option “activate performance hack” laisse à penser que ce plugin est très gourmand en ressources. Attentions donc si votre blog est déjà chez un hébergeur poussif… […]

ich möchte nicht die dynamische Sidebar vewenden und würde daher gerne die TagCloud per Skript direkt aufrufen “stc_widget();” - wie sehen denn die Argumente für diese Funktion aus - ich habe mir zwar den Quelltext angeschaut, werde jedoch nciht recht schlau daraus
Antwort: Die Funktion stc_widget(…) wird von WordPress selbst aufgerufen und bekommt desshalb die Standart WordPress Argumente für Sidebar-Widgets als Array übergeben (siehe “wp-includes/widgets.php” zum Beispiel den HTML-Code der vor oder nach dem Widget ausgegeben werden soll). Ab Version 0.9 der SensitiveTagCloud kann die Funktion stc_widget(…) aber auch ohne Parameter aufgerufen werden:

sehr nettes plugin. - bin gerade dabei es in meinen archiv-seiten einzubauen.

eine bitte: vielleicht waers moeglich, dass du den post_type nicht im code sondern ueber eine option ausschliesst. dann koennten wir auch problemlos pages taggen. ich hab den if-block mal rausgenommen, bei mir funktionierts bereits…

Hi.
Das ist genau das Plugin, welches ich suche. Wenn ich es richtig verstehe, kann man damit doch suchergebnisse filtern, in dem man weitere related tags hinzufügt, bis es keine posts mehr gibt, die zu den tags passen. oder?

Dann hätte ich noch eine Frage: Kann man das auch in einer page einbinden? Und das auch bei einem nicht-widget-fähigem blog?

Antwort: Es werden nur Tags angezeigt die in den Suchergebnissen enthalten sind. Es kann dann immer weiter eingeschränkt werden. Aber mindestens ein Beitrag bleibt das Ergebnis, da der Tag ja sonst nicht angezeigt worden währe
Antwort: Ab Version 0.9 der SensitiveTagCloud, kann die TagCloud mit der PHP Funktion stc_widget(…) in Template Dateien (und mit dem WordPress Plugin “Exec-PHP” also auch in Beiträge/Seiten) eingebunden werden:

Es funktioniert alles wunderbar. Guck mal auf http://www.soundofsirens.net/ > tags
Das einzige, was ich mir noch wünschen würde, ist dass der gerade angewählte tag im nächsten Schritt nicht mehr dabei ist, damit es wirklich eine Filterung ist.
Aber das ist eine nebensächliche Kleinigkeit.

mal eine dumme frage: dein addon wäre perfekt für meine seite, allerdings bin ich offensichtlich zu dumm es zu konfigurieren.
ich kann es in jeder situation ausblenden lassen, außer da wo ich es wirklcih nicht sehen will: beim aufrufen der seite, wenn noch keine kategorie oder kein thema gewählt wurde… ich habe sämtliche für mich logische haken gesetzt und probier es inzwischen auf gut glück, aber ich schaffe es nicht =(

Antwort: Vielen Dank für diesen Hinweis. In WordPress-Versionen vor 2.5 wirken sich die Einstellungen der Optionen “Show on pages” (für statische Seiten als Startseite) und “Show in all archives” (für “letzte Beiträge anzeigen” als Startseite) auch auf die Anzeige der Sensitive-Tag-Cloud auf der Startseite aus.
In WordPress Version 2.5 wurde die SensitiveTagCloud bisher (wegen einer falschen Default-Einstellung der SensitiveTagCloud) auf der Startseite immer angezeigt. Dieses Problem ist jetzt mit Version 0.9 der SensitiveTagCloud behoben: Es wird die Konfigurationsmöglichkeit “Show on home page (all tags)” eingeblendet, mit der man jetzt auch bei WordPress ab Version 2.5 konfigurieren kann, ob die Sensitive-Tag-Cloud auf der Startseite angezeigt werden soll oder nicht.

hey - great plugin. i’m getting the following error when i try to run xhtml 1.0 strict validation on my page with your plugin enabled.

” Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 287 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.

The error was: utf8 “\xE9″ does not map to Unicode ”

do you think it might be a language character problem? any advice?

Answer: The SensitiveTagCloud uses the WordPress function wp_generate_tag_cloud(…) to generate the tagcloud output. In this function, i found a code line you probably could modify for your needs (in “/wp-includes/category-template.php”):

Tolles Plugin! Gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, das Aussehen des Widgets (Schriftfarbe, Schriftart) noch mit CSS anzupassen? Ich benutze Ver 0.8 mit WP 2.5.
Antwort: Die für die SensitiveTagCloud verwendete CSS Klasse heißt “stc_widget”. Du kannst das Aussehen also wie folgt über dein Stylesheet anpassen:

Die einzelnen Tags gibt die WordPress Funktion wp_generate_tag_cloud(…) mit Klassen wie “tag-link-32″, “tag-link-44″, usw. je nach Gewichtung aus.

bin ich zu blöd? hallo erstmal ich hab wie beschrieben das plugin hochgeladen via ftp. nun erscheint es aber nicht in der plugin liste. was mache ich falsch? WordPress Version 2.5.1 DE-Edition… gruss, tom

Antwort: Bitte überprüfe ob du die Dateien an die richtige Stelle hochgeladen hast: Der Pfad zur Datei “sensitive-tag-cloud.php” muss “wp-content/plugins/sensitive-tag-cloud/sensitive-tag-cloud.php” sein. Ist die Datei einen Ordner tiefer, also z.B. in “wp-content/plugins/sensitive-tag-cloud/sensitive-tag-cloud/sensitive-tag-cloud.php“, wird das Plugin von WordPress nicht mehr gefunden.
Da beim Download des Plugins von der WordPress-Website alles nochmal in ein Zip mit dem Namen “sensitive-tag-cloud” gepackt wird, ist die Installationsanleitung etwas verwirrend: Es soll nur der Inhalt des darin enthaltenen Ordners “sensitive-tag-cloud” hochgeladen werden, und nicht das ganze Zip das beim Entpacken in einen gleichnamigen Ordner entpackt wird. Dadurch würde sonst diese zu tiefe Verzeichnissstruktur entstehen.

Your plugin SensitiveTagCloud is fine. But it performs a lot of sql queries (more than 300!).

hallo rené,

nachdem ich das beta2 von wp2.7 probeweise in meiner sandbox eingespielt habe, funktioniert dein plugin leider nicht mehr richtig. - die links in der tag-cloud zeigen alle auf die aktuelle geöffnete archiv-seite (also /tag1/) anstatt auf /tag1+tag2/.

hast du eine idee, was der fehler sein könnte?

Antwort: Vielen Dank für den Hinweis! Mit Version 2.7 wurden Änderungen in WordPress vorgenommen, die zu Problemen bei der SensitiveTagCloud führten. Diese Probleme sind jetzt mit Version 0.9.1 (für 0.9) und ab Version 1.1 der SensitiveTagCloud behoben. Damit funktioniert die SensitiveTagCloud jetzt auch mit WordPress Version 2.7!

hi rene.
kannst du mir mit diesem Plugin weiterhelfen? Ich versuche es gerade auf meiner Seite einzusetzen, die auf wp 2.7RC1 laeuft, aber es funktioniert nicht. man klickt die Tags an und nichts passiert

Ich habe um die 400 Tags. Wenn ich angebe, dass nur 55 davon gezeigt werden sollen, dann geht das Plugin nicht etwa - wie andere Tag-Plugins - nach Häufigkeit der Verwendung, sondern aplhabetisch vor. Sprich, es werden nurd ie ersten 55 Tags angezeigt. Egal wie oft die jeweeils verwendet wurden. Das geht bei mir also von Null bis Buchstabe B.

Kann man das nicht einstellen? Ich hab nix gefunden. Übersehe ich etwas?

Antwort: Danke für den Hinweis. Der Fehler ist jetzt mit Version 1.3 der SensitiveTagCloud behoben!

Im still having problems with this working correctly in 2.7. All the tags in my cloud point to the page that they are displayed on vs. the tags that they should link to. Please advise.

Answer: This bug with not working links if link restriction was not active, is now fixed with Version 1.3 (and 0.9.2) of the SensitiveTagCloud. Thanks for the good cooperation

Antwort: Am Ende des Beitrags, also über den Kommentaren, sind alle verfügbaren Versionen aufgelistet. Einfach die gewünschte Version anklicken, und der Download startet.
